Veteran Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini announced his Major League Soccer move to Los Angeles on Monday after leaving Juventus.
The 37-year-old also confirmed his retirement from international football by playing his final match at Wembley Stadium this month, as European champions Italy lost to Argentina in a friendly.
Chiellini left Juventus at the end of last season after a 17-year career at the Italian club, where he is third on the match list behind Alessandro Del Piero and Gianluigi Buffon.
Chiellini announced his move to Los Angeles on Twitter, where he donned a club jersey and hat and wrote “Next Chapter”.
