The French Ministry of Finance and Economy in Paris was partially evacuated briefly on Thursday after a false bomb threat, police official said, adding that the personnel now go back to work.
Alert and evacuation took place as French President Emmanuel Macron presented son election program to French and international journalists in another part of Paris.
“A bomb threat for the Ministry of Finance was received and a partial evacuation ordered. Investigations have shown that it was a false alert and the personnel now returns to work,” a policeman official noted.
BFM television reported that about 20 people had been evacuated.
