In the presence of the Secretary General of the Arab Football Federation, Dr. Raja Al Salami, the organizing committee of the Arab Futsal Cup 2022 held a meeting today, Sunday, in the presence of all members of the committee, during which Dr. Raja Al Salami welcomed the members of the committee and the delegations of the teams participating in the tournament, and wished everyone success in fulfilling their tasks. The process contributes to the success of the tournament.
At the meeting of the Organizing Committee, the list of the tournament was considered, where it was considered, and its content related to the management and conduct of matches in administrative, technical, arbitration and media aspects, as well as the final preparations of the auxiliary committees. for the tournament.
This was followed by a meeting of the refereeing committee, headed by Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ahmari, which was attended by all the referees responsible for managing the matches of the tournament.
A coordination meeting of team representatives was also held to approve the admission of players and colors of official teams, as well as to inform team representatives about the tournament list.
Tomorrow, Monday, the first competitions of the sixth Arab Futsal Championship 2022, organized by the Arab Football Association from 20 to 28 June, will be held by the Saudi Football Association in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with the teams of Morocco and Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Iraq, Algeria, Palestine, Mauritania and Somalia.
At the beginning of the first group, the Moroccan team will face the Kuwait team at 14:00 Mecca time, while the Mauritanian team will face the Somali team at 16:30 at the same time.
In the first round of the second group, Egypt will face Iraq at 7 pm Mecca time, while Algeria will wait for the second round to start their campaign in the tournament.
In the third group, Saudi Arabia completes today’s Arab Futsal Cup matches when they face Palestine at 21:30 Mecca time, while Libya will wait for the second round to play their first match of the tournament.
