The Saudi Arabian national kayaking team took part in the 11th Arab Championships and the International Nile Canoeing Championships, which will be held from 5 to 8 October in Cairo.
The Arab Championship will be held in two periods, morning and evening. On the first day of the morning period, player Abdul Karim Nasib took fourth place in the canoe race – individual category – men – (500 meters).
In the evening, player Abdul Karim Naseeb also placed second in the canoe race – individual category – men – (500 meters) in the replay, thus qualifying for the final qualification of the championship.
The delegation of the Saudi Arabia national rowing and canoeing team includes the President of the Saudi Canoe and Kayak Federation Abdulaziz Al-Suwayket, board member Maan Balghanim, Executive Director of the Federation Mamdouh Al-Buraq, Director of the Saudi Arabia national team Abdullah Al-Musaybeh, national team coach Glenn Verkuterin and Khaled Al-Issa, as well as team players: Abdul Karim Naseeb, Saud Botnur, Zainab al-Tarouti and Manal Al-Khalifa.
