Today (Wednesday) the first national futsal team beat their Japanese counterpart 2-1 at the opening of the Asian Futsal Cup, currently held in the sister State of Kuwait.
The Japanese team opened the gates of the meeting in the third minute, before returning (Al-Akhdar), scoring a goal on the mend in the eleventh minute through Nasser Al-Harthi, add player Mohsen Faqihi in the fifteenth minute, the second goal to end the first half with progress Green with two goals, and in the half the second player (Green Futsal) managed to bring the match to the end with the victory of Green.
Tomorrow (Thursday) (Falls Green) will begin its preparation for the match against Vietnam, the day after tomorrow (Friday) as part of the matches of the second round of the Asian Cup competition.
Notably, the goalkeeper of the first national futsal team, Hammoud Al-Dahan, achieved the title of man of the match in the first match of the national futsal team against his Japanese counterpart in exchange for his contribution to the two-goal meeting and his response to the Japanese team’s attacks.
For his part, the coach of the first national futsal team, Andrew Plaza, expressed his joy over the victory of the Saudi Arabian team in the first match of the Futsal Asian Cup against Japan and said: “We scored three important points in the opening of the championship. our Asian journey against a team that is considered one of the most prominent contenders for the title.”
He added: “This victory motivates us to do more in the remaining matches of the tournament.”
