The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the unanimous verdict of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon against two Hezbollah agents for their role in the attack that killed 22 people, including former Prime Minister Rafik. Hariri – may God have mercy on him – and wounded 226 people.
The Kingdom called on the international community to take responsibility towards Lebanon and its brotherly people, suffering from the absurd terrorist acts of the Iranian-backed militias, to work towards the implementation of international resolutions on Lebanon, to hunt down the criminals who deliberately contributed to the death of innocent people, causing unprecedented chaos in this brotherly country, and arrest. They must bring justice and defuse the crises that Lebanon and its people have endured over the past few decades because of their terrorist activities.
