Al-Ittihad Club President Anmar Al-Khaili thanked His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Al-Mukarram Governor of Makkah, after receiving His Royal Highness Al-Ittihad Club management and players. The football club, on the occasion of the team winning the Saudi Super Cup, Al-Khaili wrote on his personal Twitter page: “My colleagues on the board of directors and members of the football team and I had the honor to welcome His Highness the Governor of the Mecca Region Al-Mukarrama, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al Faisal.” He added: “I thank His Highness for the welcome and congratulations, as well as for the valuable advice he gave to everyone, as well as for his support and follow-up in the Al Ittihad and Al Watan clubs.
On the other hand, the Al Ittihad administration decided to hold a celebration with the fans next Friday, as part of the 16th round of the Saudi League Roshen, at the Al Jawhara Stadium on the occasion of the team winning the Saudi Super Cup. At a magnificent reception, the leadership of the Al-Ittihad club presented special gifts to His Highness, the adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Emir of Mecca Al-Mukarram, and released a portrait of King Faisal ibn Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, and the model of the Al-Ittihad club and the Al-Ittihad T-shirt for the Super Final match, signed by all the players, His Highness ordered them to be placed in the hall immediately.
