Publisher Forthright Entertainment and developer Soma Games are thrilled to announce the highly anticipated game, The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology, which will be available on multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). This exciting adventure is set to launch on December 1st.
The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology consists of three acts that make up the complete story of The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout.
Overview of the game
Step into the immersive and enchanting world of Mossflower in the first official Redwall story since 2011. The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology is a linear action-adventure game divided into three acts. Players have the option to play as either Liam or Sophia, the newest members of the Lilygrove Scout Corps. Join these young mice on an extraordinary journey to save their home from ruthless pirates and reach Redwall Abbey in time to save their friends.
Story
- Act 1 – After months of intense training, betrothed mice Liam and Sophia are finally ready to graduate into fully-fledged Scouts. These woodland rangers are entrusted with the important task of protecting the land and have been trained in the ancient ways of woodcraft. However, their initiate ceremonies are abruptly interrupted when their beloved home comes under attack from sea rats. As the senior Scouts prepare for battle, it falls upon the newest recruit to outwit the enemy, light the beacon, and seek aid from the surrounding woodlands before their home is completely destroyed.
- Act 2 – The beacon has been lit, rallying the troops to fend off the invading searats. Liam is reunited with his dear Sophia beneath the Lilygrove Lighthouse, but their reunion is marred by the news that Sophia has been poisoned by a venomous bite from the wereat. With time running out, the couple embarks on a desperate race to find the antidote, seeking help from a mysterious and dangerous stoat aboard the Winsome Wraith. As if their situation wasn’t dire enough, the sea rats continue to advance inland, and the shadow of a large predatory bird looms at the edge of the woods.
- Act 3 – Mortally poisoned by Scumsnout’s vicious maw, our brave young Scouts have managed to reach the Winsome Wraith but only just. While the mysterious stoat’s treatment has provided temporary relief, Liam and Sophia must now complete the remainder of their journey to Redwall Abbey in search of a permanent cure. This thrilling conclusion takes them through the murky Portman’s Slough, the puzzling Grating Gulley, and the ancient ruins of the Otters’ Den.
