His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with Belizean Prime Minister John Antonio Briceno today on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and the possibilities for their development, recent international events, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Following this, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Foreign Minister, and Belize Foreign Minister Eamon Courtney signed a draft protocol establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The meeting and signing ceremony was attended by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al Wazel, and the Director General of His Highness’ Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al Daoud.
