The Next Installment in The Star Wars Jedi Series is Now Being Developed by Respawn Entertainment
The publication of a new job listing lends credence to the hypothesis that Respawn Entertainment has initiated production on a third Star Wars Jedi game.

Reddit user u/Hard2DaC0re was the one who discovered the employment opportunity and was the one who contributed the job description to the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. The advertisement for this position of Principal Game Writer reveals that work on the following game is already in progress.
Job Description
In the job description, it says, “We’re looking for a highly skilled Principal Game Writer who will embrace our philosophy and share their hard-earned expertise to help us create an incredible Star WarsTM experience for our players in a fun, third-person action-adventure setting.” The job description also says, “We’re looking for someone who will share their hard-earned expertise to help us create an incredible Star Wars experience for our players.” The person we have in mind is an avid gamer enthusiastic about presenting stories through interactive narratives. The Lead Writer will direct the Principal Game Writer, who will be responsible for writing supporting text, dialogue, scenes, and plot treatments for the game under the guidance of the Lead Writer.
Past Challenges and Dissatisfaction
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor got off to a rocky start when Respawn Entertainment released it because the game’s director refused to delay the game any further. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor achieved Steam’s second-biggest Star Wars launch despite the problems during the game’s initial release. Shortly after the game was made available for purchase, developer Respawn stated PC performance and problems.
“While there is no single, comprehensive solution for PC performance, the team has been working on fixes we believe will improve performance across a spectrum of configurations,” the business announced on the day of the launch. “We are committed to fixing these issues as soon as possible, but each patch requires significant testing to ensure that we don’t introduce new problems,” the studio stated.
Future Expectations
Some gamers are still dissatisfied with the game’s performance, even though it has been out for several months, and this has caused others to doubt Respawn’s decision. Naturally, gaming studios work on many different projects at once. Hence, it’s likely that we’ll hear something about the next Star Wars Jedi game in several years.
