Nintendo has confirmed all the details, including the release date and all the tracks, for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 4 after briefly mentioning it during the most recent Nintendo Direct.
Following Wave 3 in December, this wave of tracks carries on the tradition of releasing new courses every three months.
The initial revelations were Yoshi’s Island, a brand-new course, and Birdo, the game’s first playable character. But now, players may expect seven additional confirmed tracks on March 9.
The full track listing is as follows:
- Tour Singapore Speedway
- Tour Bangkok Rush
- Wii DK Summit
- Tour Amsterdam Drift
- GBA Riverside Park
- DS Mario Circuit
- GCN Waluigi Stadium
- Yoshi’s Island
After this batch of tracks goes live, two more course packs will be available for the game. Nintendo has stated that additional characters from previous Mario Kart games will be included in addition to the courses.
VGChartz reports that 52 million Mario Kart 8 Deluxe copies have been sold since December. The sum makes it the most popular game in the Nintendo Switch’s nearly six-year history.
For $24.99, you may get the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass. The DLC is free for those with the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack subscription.
