The first groups of pilgrims from the Egyptian associations returned to Cairo today, Thursday, when 225 pilgrims from the province of Giza returned from Jeddah airport to Cairo after completing the Hajj rituals and the Ministry of Social Solidarity providing full care for the pilgrims of the associations. the remaining groups will return in the coming days.
The National Fund for the Promotion of the Hajj, under the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity, established a grouping schedule before the start of the Hajj season, based on the division of the 3,000 association pilgrims into two groups. The first group starts from Medina, then goes to Mecca for the pilgrimage, provided that it goes directly after the end of the rituals to Cairo from Jeddah airport, and their number is 1100 pilgrims. to return to Cairo from Medina Airport. The Mission of the Ministry of Social Solidarity also coordinated with EgyptAir the transportation of our pilgrims returning to Cairo and grouping them to the airport in the village of pilgrims 6 hours before the date of travel. The Mission also provides a luggage transportation service for pilgrims, whether from Jeddah or Medina, from the moment they leave the rooms until they receive them at the points of arrival (Mecca Al Mukarrama – Al Madinah Al Munawara – Cairo).
