The head of the Kataeb party said: “We hoped that the agreement would take place a long time ago, but, unfortunately, this happened during the time of Hezbollah, and she negotiated through her allies as well. The party controls three presidencies, and that we have seen indirect negotiations between Hezbollah and Israel through the Lebanese state, and that suits Israel.”

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah appeared with a big smile on Tuesday evening, referring to the maritime demarcation case as a “national wedding,” leaving behind the discourse of “thrown Israel into the sea.”
