The UK Home Office announces the accession of the Kingdom and Bahrain to the countries of the Cooperation Council

The UK Home Office has announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain will join other Gulf Cooperation Council countries on e-Visa exemption status for the United Kingdom from 1 June 2022 AD, deepening the partnership. and strengthening diplomatic relations and economic prosperity.

And the UK Home Office has said that citizens of the Kingdom and Bahrain can apply to travel to the United Kingdom (for tourism, work, study or medical purposes) for up to six months with an e-visa exemption as the exemption allows its holder to travel to the United Kingdom. Kingdom without obtaining a visa, provided that the application is completed. The exemption is done online for each visit and a small fee will apply, noting that this service is faster than applying for a visa as there is no need to provide photo and fingerprint information, visit a visa application center or surrender a passport before travel.
