Ned Price, spokesman for the US State Department on Wednesday said Russian officials were planting stories in the press which could serve as a pretext for a invasion of Ukraine, warning so much false claims circulated.
Price says in a regular press briefing that the United States was concerned by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s assertion that “genocide” was taking place in Eastern Ukraine’s Donbass region rejecting allegations that Washington and Kiev were developing biological or chemical weapons for use in the region as “entirely false.”
