Three Pakistani army soldiers were killed today in an attack carried out by terrorist elements across the border into Afghanistan.
The Pakistan Army Media Directorate said in a statement that terrorist elements fired on a Pakistani army border post in the Waziristan area adjacent to the border with Afghanistan, killing three soldiers.
The statement added that Pakistan strongly condemns the use of Afghan territory by terrorists to carry out actions against Pakistan and expects the Afghan government to prevent such actions in the future.
The statement emphasized the determination of the Pakistani army to continue the war on terrorism, explaining that such cowardly actions would not undermine the determination of the Pakistani soldiers to defend the country.
