His Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi, Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Paralympic Committee and Head of the Kingdom’s Delegation, today witnessed the competition on the second day of the tournament, during which Saudi Athletics team player Muhammad Tulu won second place and a silver medal in the shot put competition after throwing at a distance of 20.12 m in competitions or games that were held at the track and field athletics of the Municipal Stadium in Konya.

In the 5000 m final, runner Tariq Al-Omari finished sixth with a time of 13.95.05 minutes.

In the women’s 100m qualifying, runner Yasmine Al-Dabbagh placed sixth with a time of 12.81 seconds compared to her previous record in the same race at the third Gulf Games (Kuwait, 2022) held last May, which was 12.90 seconds.

In the Paralympic swimming competition, swimmer Ibrahim Al-Marzouki placed fourth in the 200m freestyle final with a time of 4.39.21 minutes, the same place that his colleague Turki Al-Harbi placed in the 200m individual medley with a time of 4.39.21 minutes. 2.54.73 minutes. .

The taekwondo competition will start tomorrow at 9 am with Doniya Abu Taleb in the 53kg division, Fahd Al Samih in the 54kg division and Riyad Al-Dhafri in the 58kg division, with table tennis competitions for teams starting at 10 a.m., the same time as Paralympic swimmers Turki Al-Harbi and Ibrahim Al-Marzouki in the 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke qualifying heats.

Runner Muhammad Al-Maawi aims to win one of the medals in the 400m hurdles final at 6 pm, vaulter Hussain Al-Hazam is looking forward to winning a medal in the pole vault final at 5 pm. , and Hassan Doshi will compete in the triple jump final and Abdullah Abkar in the 100m final at 7pm.
