Liverpool lost two valuable points in a 1-1 draw with their guest Tottenham Hotspur in a match that brought them together yesterday, Saturday, in the 36th round of the English Premier League “Premier League”.
After a negative first half, Tottenham opened the scoring thanks to South Korean star Heung-Min Son in the 56th minute, while Liverpool equalized thanks to Colombian star Luis Diaz in the 74th minute of the match.
With this tie, each team got one point, and Liverpool increased their lead to 83 points and climbed to the top on goal difference with Manchester City, who will host Newcastle United on Sunday in the same round.
Tottenham also raised their score to 62 points, finishing fifth in the Premier League table.
