Tunisian president renews warning against state overthrow

Tunisian President Qais Syed warned of attempts by some to overthrow the state, but stressed that those who do are wrong and that their place is garbage cans. This happened during his meeting with the Minister of the Environment, Leila al-Sheikhavi, according to the Tunisian channel Nessma, which indicated that the meeting took place at the Carthage Palace. During the meeting, Said instructed Chihaui to take immediate action to end what he called the “environmental disaster” in Sfax, in cooperation with the responsible authorities for the terrible environmental situation. The President of Tunisia emphasized the unity of the country, pointing out that the independence enjoyed by some local groups does not affect the unity of Tunisia, and that everyone should be equal in the pursuit of the public interest.
