Gala Lake in The province of Edirne, in the far west of Turkey, is home to 232 species of birds, which up 47% of bird species in Turkey.
The paradise of birds, located in the wetland of the Meriç delta, is a frequent destination for migrating birds that spend spring and summer in Turkey before traveling to warmer regions of the world towards fall.
Apparently the national the park is home to flamingos, pelicans and several types of swans such as tundra, singer and mute. Affiliated teams with Edirne branch of Executive management of The Nature Conservancy and National Parks continue their observations in Gala Lake.
Located between neighborhoods of Ipsala and Enez of Edirne, the park national of Lake Gala is one of The most important wetlands in Turkey, with a lake and forest ecosystems.
