Two Turkish journalists working for CNN Türk was shot in Ukraine on Thursday night as tensions soared in the war-torn country.

Journalist Samet Güner and cameraman Caner Emre Kınacı were in a vehicle as the attack come.

The two were heading to the capital Kyiv from Lviv, a journalist who East also currently in Ukraine, Adem Metan, reported in a tweet.

Both parties agreed on Brest region in western Belarus as a place for talks and russian military planned a “safety corridor” for allow the passage of the Ukrainian delegation.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has urged Russia to declare a ceasefirefire in the hard-hit eastern regions of Kharkiv and Sumy to allow civilians to achieve safety. Meanwhile, the UN also warned more more than 10 millions people could leave their homes at cause from Russia invasion of Ukraine.
