The Kyiv city administration said two administrative buildings in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, were damaged Wednesday in a drone attack and added that there was no information yet on the possibility of death or injury from the attack.
The mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko, said that air defense systems shot down 13 drones, and explosions occurred in the Shevchenko district in the city center, as well as at a number of universities, galleries and restaurants.
Reuters was unable to independently verify the information.
Sirens continued to sound in the capital and the Kyiv region until 06:00 Moscow time, that is, more than two hours after their first sound.
