On Friday, Ukraine accused the Russians of carrying out strikes near a nuclear reactor at the Zaporozhye plant (southern), which has been under Russian occupation since the start of the war.
The Ukrainian state company Energoatom, which runs the country’s nuclear power plants, said on Telegram that “three strikes near one of the nuclear reactors were reported on Friday evening.” The same source stated: “There are risks of hydrogen leakage and the spread of radioactive materials.
