Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleb evaluated that Russia’s recognition of Donetsk and Luhansk republics “brings the world to the brink of a third world war”.
“We are at a crossroads regarding European security and Russian actions are bringing the world to the brink of a third world war,” Kuleba said at a press conference with his US counterpart, Anthony Blinken, on Wednesday.
“Ukraine welcomes the US sanctions against Russia,” he said.
We have two plans to deter Russia, the first is to use diplomatic methods or to resort to armed struggle.”
