Ukrainian Military Prepares for Counteroffensive with Specialized Training in Urban Warfare

The Bild newspaper reported that German instructors were training the people of Kiev to fight in populated areas in preparation for a Ukrainian counterattack.

The newspaper, citing informed sources, reported that the Ukrainian military is preparing for a counterattack on dozens of military bases in Germany.

The newspaper indicated that Ukrainian forces are being trained in populated areas, as well as training at German bases using Leopard 2 tanks and Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers.

The newspaper notes that there are currently more than 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen on German bases.

American media reported that the Ukrainian counterattack was scheduled for April 30th.

A number of experts have told the Russian news agency Novosti that the conflicting statements by Kyiv and Washington cannot be trusted and that they may be part of a targeted disinformation campaign.
