The Bild newspaper reported that German instructors were training the people of Kiev to fight in populated areas in preparation for a Ukrainian counterattack.
The newspaper, citing informed sources, reported that the Ukrainian military is preparing for a counterattack on dozens of military bases in Germany.
The newspaper indicated that Ukrainian forces are being trained in populated areas, as well as training at German bases using Leopard 2 tanks and Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers.
The newspaper notes that there are currently more than 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen on German bases.
American media reported that the Ukrainian counterattack was scheduled for April 30th.
A number of experts have told the Russian news agency Novosti that the conflicting statements by Kyiv and Washington cannot be trusted and that they may be part of a targeted disinformation campaign.
