Today, the White House announced that US Vice President Kamala Harris has tested positive for the Corona virus, Covid-19, in rapid tests and polymerase chain reaction tests.
The vice president’s spokeswoman, Kirsten Allen, explained in a press release that the vice president had no symptoms, emphasizing that Harris would be in isolation, continue to work from her residence, and follow CDC guidelines and advice from her doctors.
She confirmed that Vice President Harris was not in direct contact with President Joe Biden.
