Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed on Thursday that the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey had risen to 14,014, in addition to more than 63,000 injured, adding in a statement during a visit to Gaziantep hit by a natural disaster: the earthquake destroyed more than 6,400 buildings , and that Turkey intends to build new 3- and 4-story buildings in the area within one year. On Thursday, UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen confirmed that Syrians affected by the devastating earthquake in their country and Turkey last Monday need “more of everything without exception” in regards to aid, adding in a press release. Statement in Geneva: The United Nations has received confirmation that first aid will be flown from Turkey to Syria, calling for assurances that there will be no political obstacles to getting aid to where it is most needed.

The 14 known children will remain in the nursing home until it is clear to their families and will be handed over to them if they are alive. The other two will remain in the nursing home under the supervision of the Ministry of Family and Welfare.
