Dozens of African citizens attacked an Algerian family in the city of Skikda in Algeria, inflicting 4 wounds of varying severity, Algerian media reported.
In the night from Friday to Saturday, 4 wounded from the same family were admitted to the city hospital after they were attacked by dozens of Africans in a village belonging to Skikda, the Algerian newspaper An-Nahar reports.
According to the newspaper, the two sides disagreed over a plot of agricultural land after an Algerian family was subjected to successive thefts by African citizens.
The Algerian newspaper El-Khabar pointed out that “Africans are illegal immigrants” and they tried to “force” seize the plot of land belonging to the family.
According to the head of the family, the Africans wanted to live and sleep on agricultural land belonging to him, while their “illegal” living in the forest adjacent to the village, the Al-Shoruk website reports.

The family was attacked by seventy Africans, and they were “heavily armed with various white weapons”, using swords, iron sticks and even Molotov cocktails.
The head of the family, his son, nephew and one of the farm workers were injured in the attack, which did not stop until the villagers intervened to end the conflict.
African citizens persecuted the head of the family even in the mosque in the village, before the intervention of local residents and relevant security agencies.
The security authorities launched an investigation into the incident with the aim of detaining the attackers and interrogating them to clarify the circumstances of the incident that shook the area, according to Al-Shoruk.
