In continuation of the prostration, and in a new attempt to deceive and control the “resistance”, and in what resembles delirium, the Lebanese Hezbollah yesterday considered that “the achievement in the demarcation of the maritime borders with Israel is “a practical example of a defensive strategy in coordination between the resistance and state”. And that the party will keep it and protect it from the theft of public money!
The party’s deputy general secretary, Naeem Qassem, took the prone line, saying: “We have been talking from the beginning, and now I repeat, we, like Hezbollah, have nothing to do with the discussion of maritime borders and areas. Rather, it is the duty of the state to declare its borders and decide to consent to their restoration.”
Naeem Qassem added that “Lebanon announced through His Excellency the President that our borders were obtained through an indirect agreement with the Israeli entity.”
He described the demarcation of maritime borders for oil and gas production with Israel as “a great and great achievement”, stressing that “Hezbollah will work for everything that will get the approval of the sovereign fund and the approval of what is commensurate with the protection of wealth for the benefit of the Lebanese, and comply with all measures protecting against international thieves and thieves “of local residents, as well as from corruption and robbers”.
Last week, Lebanon and Israel announced the approval of the final version of the draft agreement on the demarcation of the maritime border between the two countries, which was presented by the American mediator Amos Hochstein.
