His Excellency President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping noted that relations between China and the Arab countries are developing significantly, as both sides have established a strategic partnership based on all-round cooperation and common development for a better future.
In his closing speech at the Arab-Chinese Cooperation and Development Summit in Riyadh, Ping added that the Arab-Chinese summit has worked to strengthen construction to counter the food, energy and climate crisis and is committed to finding political solutions to hot and thorny issues. and working to maintain peace and security in the region, and calls for the achievement of mutual benefit and the strengthening of harmonious coexistence among different civilizations.
He added that China has established comprehensive strategic partnership relations with 12 Arab countries separately, and signed cooperation documents on the construction of the “Belt and Road” with 20 Arab countries, 17 Arab countries have expressed their support for the global development initiative, and 15 Arab countries have joined to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. The Sino-Arab Cooperation Forum has established 17 cooperation mechanisms.
The Chinese President emphasized that Sino-Arab relations have made a historic leap, bringing tangible benefits to the peoples of the two countries and bringing more factors of stability to the region and the world, noting that the Sino-Arab Summit was a complete success, as the parties agreed to make every effort to create a Sino-Arab Arab community for a common future in a new era, which is an important milestone in the history of Sino-Arab relations.
He underscored the Chinese side’s willingness to use this summit as a new starting point for strengthening the Sino-Arab friendship, presented in the spirit of solidarity, synergy, equality, interests, mutual benefit and inclusiveness, and advancing the promising horizons of cooperation.
