While two teams from the government and the Houthis are discussing ways to overcome the opening of roads in Taiz, they launch a military operation that is the most brutal, resulting in death and injury other people, the intimidation of civilians and the bombing of villages and towns, in clear violation of international humanitarian law and human rights law, which in such a rude and blatant manner encourage Al-Houthi as a result of revealing international positions and failing to take any decisive positions on deterrence this dangerous escalation that is bringing us back to square one, threatening security and peace not in Yemen, but in the regional environment, and the Security Council must also take strict measures And the imposition of international sanctions in addition to threatening the interests of these militias, prosecuting their warlords and canceling all confidence-building measures provided by the United Nations through its representative to the UN.
Significantly, the Houthi militia today launched an offensive against the Al Dabab area in Taiz in an attempt to take control of the area and cut the only artery linking the city of Taiz with the temporary capital of Aden.
