The Yemen national team won 3-1 over the UAE team in the second group match of the Arab States Cup among youth teams under 20.
Hamza Mahrus, Abdul Rahman Al Shami and Muhammad Mahdi scored for the Yemeni national team, while Muhammad Khalil scored for the UAE national team.
Yemen’s Abdul Rahman Al-Shami won the Man of the Match award.
With this result, the Jordan team is at the top of the second group standings with 4 points, followed by the Yemen team with 3 points and then the UAE team with one point.
Thus, the Jordanian team is guaranteed to qualify for the quarter-finals along with the Saudi team that topped the first group and reached the quarter-finals first.
