17 people were killed and 22 injured in a traffic accident in east China’s Jiangxi province today, Sunday, state media reported.
The radio station clarified that the victims were taken to the hospital, indicating that an investigation is underway to determine the causes of the accident.
She explained that a “major traffic accident” occurred shortly before 1:00 am (5:00 pm GMT on Saturday) in Nanchang County.
Later, the traffic police in Nanchang issued a warning to drivers saying there was “foggy weather” in the area.
“Visibility is poor, which could easily lead to traffic accidents,” the police said.
