Tens of thousands of citizens held Friday prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities at the gates and entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem.
According to Palestinian sources, according to the Department of Islamic Endowments in occupied Jerusalem, about 45,000 people performed Friday prayers in the premises of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The sources added that Israeli occupying forces deployed on the streets of the city and in the Al-Aqsa Mosque area positioned themselves at its gates, stopped worshipers, checked their identity cards, prevented dozens from entering the mosque and arrested a young man. from the Bab al-Amud area, as well as the attack on a citizen Nidal al-Natshe after she stopped him at the door of a mosque.
