The speculation surrounding the Fortnite x Doctor Who crossover event has started to pick up steam once more, with leakers and dataminers discovering new references to the upcoming event.
These claims were first said to have been circulating about a year ago when the Fortnite leaker’s Twitter account @FNBRintel stated that a partnership with Doctor Who was in the works. Following this, fellow Fortnite Twitter accounts, such as @ShiinaBR, confirmed the rumor.
When asked about the collaboration, FNBRintel said it was “several months away.” Despite this, it is anticipated that the event will be used to mark the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who, which debuted on television in November 1963.
Another well-known Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkey, shared a recently discovered event titled “U.N.I.T Tardis Alert.” The Unified Intelligence Taskforce is a fictitious military organization in the Whoniverses. U.N.I.T. refers to this organization. On the other hand, Doctor Who’s time machine is called the Tardis.
