Al Shabab continued their lead in the Saudi League Roshan by beating their guest Al Raed 1-0 in a showdown that brought them together today at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh as part of sixth round of the competition.
The only goal of the match was scored by Al Raed defender Mohamed Salem with an own goal in the 22nd minute.
With this win, Al Shabab raised their tally to 18 points, retaining first place in the league, while Al Raed’s balance remained at 9th in eighth.
