For their part, Algeria, Sudan, Yemen and Tunisia advanced to the quarter-finals.

In the first group and at the Al-Siq stadium, the Algerian team beat the UAE team 3-0, defeating Mohamed Abdel-Mojib, Fathi Kasasi and Anatof Muslim.

In the same group and at the Mostaganem stadium, Sudan beat Palestine with the same score (3: 0), and Musab Ahmed, Musa Ali and Munter Saber scored for him.

With these results, Algeria leads Group A with 9 points from 3 wins, followed by Sudan with 6 points, followed by the UAE and Palestine with one point.

In the second group at the Al Siq Stadium, Tunisia beat Oman 2-1, scored by Anas Al-Amdouni and Muhammad Karim, and Oman’s goal was scored by Abdullah Al-Sharqi.

In the same group and at the Mostaganem stadium, the match between Libya and Yemen resulted in a positive 1-1 draw, with Libya’s goal scored by Abdelmumen Al-Mabrouk and Yemen’s goal by Anwar Al-Tariqi. .

With these results, the Yemeni team is in first place in the group with 5 points, tied with Tunisia, followed by the Libyan team with the same balance, and then the Omani team is in fourth place without points.

The Tunisian team, along with their Yemeni counterpart, advanced to the quarter-finals, defeating Libya on a fair play basis.

The group stage competition ends today, Tuesday, with Morocco facing Comoros, Mauritania facing Iraq in Group C and Egypt facing Syria in Group D.
