Real Madrid kick off the campaign to defend their Spanish Football League title excited about the new continental crown, while rivals Barcelona kick off the season amid the dilemma of registering the great contracts he signed this summer. Real Madrid will play their first match on Sunday away against Almería, this season’s promotion to the top league, after winning a record-breaking European Super Cup title for the fifth time on Wednesday, equal in numbers to Barcelona and AC . Milan, defeating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0.

And if the Super Cup shows anything, it’s that Real Madrid still have the strongest side on the continent despite the relatively quiet summer it has enjoyed, unlike rivals Barcelona, who are eager to return to to fame as her most notable deals were young French midfielder Aurelian Chuamini for €80m from Monaco and German defender Antonio Rüdiger signed a free transfer deal from Chelsea.

Barcelona problems

For their part, Barcelona are heading into the new season while still floundering behind the scenes, especially with the deals they signed this summer, including the lethal Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who came from Bayern Munich.

He starts his career on Saturday at home against Rayo Vallecano under coach Javi Hernandez, who came to the middle of last season and pulled him out of the poor record he was in and hopes a group of new signings will help close the gap. with Real Madrid after finishing 13 points behind last season.

Leeds United’s Brazilian winger Rafinha and Ivory Coast’s Franck Kissier have also signed from Milan, and it looks like the defense will improve significantly with the signings of France’s Jules Condé and Andreas Christensen.

The problem, however, is that by earlier this week, Barcelona were unable to sign up their new players because they hadn’t raised enough money to meet the spending caps La Liga had placed on the club.

And SSPN indicated on Wednesday that Christensen and Kessir could leave the Catalan club for free if they didn’t check in by Saturday.

This is reportedly coming despite the fact that Barcelona’s board of directors has sold some of its assets and entered into agreements to be able to deal with €1.3 billion in debt.

Sevilla, fourth last season, cut the league ribbon on Friday at Osasuna after reaching a free transfer deal for midfielder and playmaker Isco after his contract expired after nine seasons at Real Madrid.

As for Atlético Madrid, the only club that has been able to compete with Spain’s two giants in recent years by becoming champions in 2014 and 2021, its campaign starts on Monday at home against Real Mallorca, with Valladolid and Girona coming out for the new season into the top division along with Saudi Almeria.
