Burkina Faso releases 62 women and four babies

The Burkina Faso army carried out a security operation that resulted in the release of some 62 women and four babies in the north-central region of the country. Last week they were abducted by gunmen near two villages in the Arbinda district of the Somme region. in the Sahel region, when they wandered through the thickets in search of fruit and tree leaves. Arbinda is located in northern Burkina Faso, in an area besieged by armed groups and barely supplied with food.
