New Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag finally got his wish by signing a defensive midfielder, using the services of Real Madrid’s Brazilian Casemiro, who refused to move despite the two clubs reaching an agreement.
Casemiro has a lot of experience after five European Champions League victories and has also been one of the pillars of the Brazil national team in recent years.
The Red Devils team is still trying to solidify its ranks, especially on the front lines, and newspapers have been talking about the possibility of including Atlético Madrid’s Belgian Yannick Carrasco, Eindhoven’s Dutch winger Cody Gakbo, or Ajax’s Brazilian winger Anthony, with the possibility contract with American Chelsea striker Christian Pulisic on loan.
United started the Premier League in the worst possible way, losing their first two matches to Brighton 1-2 at home and Brentford 0-4 away to finish last for the first time since 1992.
