The Zagazig Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Mohamed Abdel Karim, Chief Justice and Counselor Dr. Mustafa Blazi, and composed of Counselor Ahmed Samir Selim, Secretariat Mohamed Farouk and Ahmed Gharib ratified the decision of the Grand Mufti of Egypt. to hang a student accused of murdering Salma Bahgat, known in the media as the Zagazig girl.
The court listened to the argument of the State Prosecution, where the representative of the State Prosecution pointed out that the victim had achieved superiority and an assessment of superiority, so that joy filled the souls of everyone, except for this accused, who sat and thought about how to rehabilitate himself, especially since he had selfishness and possession, and the defendant came to the idea of Killing the victim in the way he did it, as he contacted a friend of the victim and stated that he wanted to meet with her in order to reconcile and apologize for any insult committed against her. He joined training inside the newspaper and actually went to the property where the newspaper was located and kept circling back and forth waiting for the victim to arrive.
