Saudi Motorsports has welcomed the announcement of the return of the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to Jeddah, home to the world’s fastest street circuit, from 17 to 19 March 2023.
The World Motorsport Summit’s third visit to the Kingdom will be the second race on the Formula 1 World Championship calendar for 2023, which was announced yesterday Wednesday, and the championship will return to the Kingdom at the start of the new season.
For his part, Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al Abdullah Al Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Motor Sports Federation and Saudi Motorsports, expressed his joy at the confirmation of the date for the third Formula 1 race in Jeddah. said: “Everyone at Saudi Motorsports is looking forward to the return of Formula 1 racing to Jeddah during the Saudi Formula 1 Grand Prix for the third time scheduled for March next year.
His Highness added: “Organizing major sporting events such as Formula 1 in the Kingdom is an integral part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals, which aims to improve the lives of all Saudi Arabian citizens. previously inaccessible to our young men and women who are the main elements of our work team.”
Saudi Arabia is one of the newest locations on the Formula 1 calendar, with the first race taking place in December 2021 and the second just four months later in March 2022.
