When a competing service becomes a hit, Meta doesn’t hesitate to draw inspiration from it to improve its Facebook and Instagram social networks. For example, Mark Zuckerberg’s company took inspiration from Snapchat Stories and offered the same format across two of its social networks. And when TikTok broke through, Meta was inspired son video format to create the equivalent called Reels on Instagram. We can also bring an offensive conducted by the company on audio format, for the Clubhouse counter.

Instagram interested in the network’s flagship feature social Be real

Now it’s a young network social (French) BeReal, which is on the Meta’s radar. This new platform is positioned as anti-Instagram. As we explained in the previous article, users post photos there every day. But this app randomly chooses when this photo should be sent. And if posting a photo is optional, it is required if you want to see photos posted by your friends. “Every day at different times, everyone is simultaneously notified to take a photo in 2 minutes. Find out what your friends are really doing in everyday life”, can be read on the main page of the site web BeReal company.
