His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister for Foreign Affairs, today met with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Muhammad Hussein on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly at its seventy-seventh session in New York.
During the meeting, His Highness the Foreign Minister expressed the solidarity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Republic of Iraq and its brotherly people, reaffirming the Kingdom’s support for everything that guarantees security and stability and preserves the capabilities and achievements of Iraq and its people.
The parties also considered aspects of Saudi-Iraqi relations and ways to support and strengthen them in the interests of the two countries and two fraternal peoples, and also discussed many regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America and Director General of HRH’s Office of Foreign Minister Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
