No Man’s Sky Update 3.99 is now available for download, for all platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. The file size may vary depending on the platform.
There are two methods by which we deliver updates to players: One will be the weekly changes that will cover smaller adjustments, and the other will be downloadable updates to the game that will include more impactful bug fixes and changes.
KEY FEATURES
Combining furious run ‘n’ gun action and deep, roguelike mechanics, Neon Abyss pits you as a member of ‘Grim Squad’ – a task force set-up by Hades himself to infiltrate the Abyss and defeat the New Gods. Death is not the end as every time you die, you’ll find yourself more empowered than before.
Unlimited Item Synergies
As you progress through each dungeon, random item drops will be key in helping you infiltrate the Abyss and these passive effects can stack between every item. With no limit to how many can apply; a wide variety of combinations will make each run unique.
Evolving Dungeon
With each run, you will be able to unlock new rooms, items, bosses, special rules and even new endings! This means each dungeon is unique and expandable, being tailored to your own specific play style.
Hatch and Evolve Pets
If you need some company on your journey into the depths of the abyss, or just some additional firepower or assistance, eggs can be found which will turn into a random pet that has a special ability and will evolve the longer you survive.
Mini-Games
Take a short break from slaying minions and take part in random mini-games that will also bag you some loot! Jump into Piano Performances, Meditation Challenge, Dance Competitions, and more – staying alive just got a lot more interesting!
THE CHRONO TRAP DLC
The Chrono Trap DLC will launch at the same time, as a separate item.
- Endless Mode: Face down endless challenges and new elite monsters to unleash your full potential. It’s a perilous journey to your final battle against the all-powerful Chronos! How long will you last?
- Chronos: Upon purchase of the Chrono Trap DLC, you will be able to challenge the new Chrono Titan in two different play modes!
- How to begin the Chrono Trap adventure: There is a play mode switching device at the edge of the cliff by the bar. Change the mode to ‘Endless Mode’ to gain access.
