Brazilian media reported that a nine-year-old student was surprised by the presence of a cougar in his school toilet.
The British newspaper Metro reported that student David Miguel was horrified. The newspaper added that David fled the scene and ran to tell his father, Rodrigo Almeida, 34, about what he saw. “My heart almost stopped,” the boy told local media, with his father also revealing that he thought he would find a dog or something, adding, “The moment I saw an animal of this size, I ran back.”
Horrifying footage shows the animal growling from a small room at Martha Drummond Fonseca Public School. Brazilian local authorities were called to the scene and managed to shoot the cougars with a sedative arrow, unharmed and released back into the wild by the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources.
