Romania.. An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale occurred in the region of Oltenia

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale hit western Romania today. The Romanian National Institute of Geophysical Research confirmed that an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 at a depth of 15 km occurred in the Oltinia region of George County.

There were no immediate reports of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
