The festival kicks off with a variety of races, distances and international classifications between sand and grass courses, most notably the world’s most expensive race in the Saudi Arabian Cup main race, which is world number one in the 1800m, with a prize pool of $20 million , in addition to the Abay Cup races, whose classification has been upgraded to the First category, which is dedicated to purebred Arabian horses, and the second category, the Munif Cup for purebred Arabian horses, at a distance of 2000 meters.
The entry list for the two days of the festival is topped by 46 world number one winning horses from (Japan, USA and the United Arab Emirates), in addition to an outstanding comeback with strong representation from (United Kingdom, Ireland, Argentina, France and Germany).
