From this perspective, the Saudi Arabian University Sports Federation aims to create a national model of university sports that will enable it to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s vision related to physical and sports activities through university sports in which the proportion of participants with different abilities, levels and goals, so that the student sport is one of the biggest supporters of the national sport.
Hadil Al-Malki, General Supervisor of the Saudi Women’s Athletics Team, emphasized that collegiate sports are an important means of shaping the younger generation, developing abilities and preparing students to be an effective energy in society, noting that this requires proper planning, effort and intensification. the work of universities, in addition to diligently strive and confirm the quality of work, as young people have the opportunity to devote continuous active and continuous work and ongoing activities to develop their talents, which are strengthened by the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, and do not forget the active role of Saudi universities in general.
The administration of Prince Sultan University sought to increase the role of sports in shaping the personality of the student, therefore, it organized a number of sports events and tournaments, and also sought to organize its own sports course as part of the university’s pioneering initiatives, in which many colleges, universities and educational institutions participate annually, periodically and during two semesters. The first and second semesters of each academic year and this course includes sports tournaments, the Prince Sultan University Futsal, Basketball and Table Tennis Championships.
Al Faisal University students organized the Service and Society Committee, a ten-hurdle race around the university with the aim of spreading the culture of sports for all and promoting its health-related concepts, participating in the Saudi University Sports Federation Futsal Championship for a female student, finishing in third place.
As a result of outstanding efforts to revitalize university sports in various games, Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University has achieved many championships in various sports, including: Saudi Arabia University Sports Federation Championship, Kingdom Women’s Judo Championship, Kingdom Women’s Badminton Championship, Championship FIFA 21 leagues and the Saudi Arabian Universities League for Esports.
On the other hand, King Saud University has strived to provide its students and staff with a variety of sports such as individual or team sports (table tennis, squash, athletics, chess, electronic sports, tennis, karate, taekwondo, judo, swimming, running ). endurance races and marathons). To intensify these efforts, the university has organized many competitive tournaments and competitions at the college level with the aim of creating opportunities to participate in activities that benefit students and participants from all physical, medical, psychological and social aspects that the goals of physical activity in all its forms and flowers.
